Amy‚Äôs Ph.D. focused on understanding the genetic basis of cognitive impairment and seizure risk in Alzheimer‚Äôs disease associated with Down syndrome. She has expertise in transgenic and transchromosomic models of neurological disease, neuropharmacology, cell biology, and neuronal networks, and experience of a wide range of research techniques including molecular biology, iPS cell reprogramming and differentiation, brain slice electrophysiology, fluorescence imaging, and the recording and analysis of EEG.
Amy holds a first class BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from UCL, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Neuroscience from the UCL Institute of Neurology.¬†
