Joannaâ€™s doctoral research focussed on characterising the interaction of HIV-1 with host cofactors involved in nuclear entry, integration site selection, and evasion of the innate immune system. She has extensive experience working with viral vectors, RNAi, cell culture, and a range of antibody technologies, as well as in small-molecule development.
Joanna has an honours degree in Microbiology and Virology from The University of Warwick and a PhD in molecular virology from University College London.Â
